Happy Birthday Christy!

We are hosting a very special "birthday" blog hop this month!
Our Super-Manager, Christy celebrated her birthday yesterday (no joke!) We hope you hop to all the DT's blogs and see their lovely birthday inspired creations they design for Christy.

You need to start at The Stamping Boutique Blog and work your way through the group! Please post on each blog to be in the draw for the FREE images!

The hop will run from April 2nd 12AM EST and you will have until April 3rd 6PM EST. After that time, the comments will be tallied and the winner will be randomly picked.

I'm very definitely a woman and I enjoy it." -Marilyn Monroe

When I saw this quote, I knew I had to do something with it. This is what I came up with. I hope you like it.
Have a fabulous evening friends.

Quirky Crafts

We are once again sponsoring the challenge over at Quirky Crafts and this week the challenge is to create a twisted easel card and/or Mother's Day gift.  You still have time to enter and you will want to check out the spectacular projects from the QT team here.

Suzi  has created this wonderful card using Audrey's Picnic.
Don't you just love those handmade flowers and pretty color pallet?

Collette has created this delightful card using Bunny Egg.  Nice vibrant colors (love that orange) and added texture to polka dots on bow make this card a real treat!

Challenge #3 and Winner

Please let me apologize again for being late...I promise this is not me, I have some serious jet lag. Wow....we have been home for 5 days and I'm still having the hardest time getting up in the morning. My kids however...wow...they adjust so quickly and easily, it's amazing. We are so very happy to finally be back in the states and seeing our family after a very long 4 1/2 years.

But you didn't come here to listen to my life story right?! So on with the good stuff!

Here is what the DT came up with:

Amanda:

How fantastic is this layout! This just pushes you right into spring!!! And look at the image she used....I just love how she wrapped "real" thread around it!

Collette:
Look at this lovely handmade flower!!! How fabulous it is!! Stunning coloring on this one too!

Hannah:
Mmmmmmm.....rolled flowers....these have become so popular lately and they are sooo cute!!!
Love this very springy card!

Michelle:
Wow...those flowers are beautiful...I need to ask her how she made those! love that DP!

Miranda:
What a stunning card. These colors are so pretty and lush! All the different directions and DP...stunning! Oh and she cut out that entire image...wow...that must have taken some time! And did you notice that AJ has a personalized shirt on...how cute!

Stacie:
Yummmmmmyyyyyy.....these colors are soooo great! The flowers look fabulous with those nice bright colors and the water really does look like it's dripping off the umbrella.

Jeannie:
These flowers are just stunning....that silky ribbon is just so lush and pretty! Beautiful!!!

Thank you ladies for joining us last week and I hope you all will be back for this challenge. The challenge runs for 2 weeks so plenty of time to join in!

"Thoughts"

Ok, indulge me a minute. This image is one of artistic images that probably won't sell but, that' ok. I drew it for me. I call it "Thoughts" because it represents how most of my thoughts are loving and kind but, once in awhile. "oh my!" My kids, or something will just set me off and I just lose it. These are the swirls. I could have made them a little crazier but, I didn't want it to be too nuts. Anyway, that's the thought process behind this image. There's probably some peri-menopausal issues behind my madness but, we won't discuss that. LOL!
This was my mood at 4am this morning and thank you so much for listening to me ramble. :D
