This is a little thing I did last night. It's based on the "She Art" workshop by Christy Tomlinson. These little girls are so fun. I'm making a little journal of them.

CHALLENGE #9~NO DP

You are more than welcome to make your own DP (designer paper) but you can NOT use any sort of manufactured DP!!! I know for me this is a personal challenge so I hope the DT's inspiration helps you out!

Introducing our Guest Designer.....

I was born October 11, 1954 so that makes me close to the age of Redwood trees. I’ve lived in Oregon, Washington, Arizona and New Mexico. I married the most wonderful man in the world 31 years ago and we have 3 grown children who are now 28, 26 and 25. I have raised Bullmastiff dogs, homeschooled, cross stitched, played the violin, piano, banjo, flute, and guitar. I never attended college and never had art lessons. Jesus Christ leads my life daily, and any talent that I may have comes from Him and Him only.

I love and wished I had more hours in the day to garden, rescue dogs, cook, hike, travel, bake, dance and just live life. I work part time at my church and enjoy every minute of my ministry work there.

I am just like you, nothing fancy, just a love of stamping. So come with me as I stumble along. Let’s learn from each other. Oh by the way…. let’s laugh lot’s and have a great time!

Since it is the beginning June, we are starting our third challenge at Simply Scrapping Crafts in The Stamping Boutique Group. And, the third challenge is “Ribbon and/or Lace.” This will be perfect for a lot of our images. You do not have to use an image from The Stamping Boutique, but if you do, your entry will be placed in the drawing twice. This challenge will run the entire month of June. The prize for this challenge will be two images of your choice from The Stamping Boutique. Red, White, and Blue

Since Memorial day is on the 30th I thought it would be nice to honor and remember all of our Active Duty and Veterans by using the patriotic colors for our challenge. You do NOT have to have a patriotic card as you will see from what our DT has put together, I just want to see the colors of red, white, and blue so have fun with it!

I love the extra colors added with the R,W&B...the crinkled paper and distressing.

This was one of my first TSB images and from what Collette said it was one of her's too. That flag looks amazing! God Bless America!!!
