In keeping with the PARTY spirit, our challenge this week is all about
BALLOONS!!

Over the past three years, Tracey has created such a vast variety of images,
and as you'll see by the DT samples, there are all kinds of ways
to celebrate our birthday with balloons!

But before I share the eye candy, we have to tell you about the winner and top 3 of the Anything Goes Challenge!

Heavens to Betsey! We had over 150 entries to drool over! This was the hardest decision we've ever made!

In a very, very close vote from the TSB DT the WINNER is:
#114: Christy Beans with this gorgeous creation:

Congratulations, Christy!! email me at hestiashelper@gmail.com with your choice of ANY three images from The Stamping Boutique!

And feel free to grab your "I Won" badge:

We narrowed down a daunting list of favorites and came up with
The Top 3

Camilla is only EIGHT years old and she used  a TSB image for her creation!
She made all the signs in 3-D and she drew the bike herself!
Way to go, little one!! Keep on crafting!!!

Now!! You're thinking: "Balloons? That's going to be interesting!" Right?

Well, here are the creations by the oh-so-fabulous TSB Team!

Challenge #43: Paper Piecing

Hello and Good Morning to All!

OK, so you're not big fans of "Texting Terminology", huh?
We only had three ladies enter last weeks' challenge!

Since the winner usually gets THREE images from The Stamping Boutique,
I think we'll just make everyone happy today!

Congrats! You are all winners!!

Contact me (Stacie) at hestiashelper@gmail.com
with your choice of ANY image

And feel free to post your "I Won" badge at your blogs!

Each month, over at our Crafting Community: The Crafter's Cafe
we host a Kid's Challenge
Now that school is out for summer,
lots of crafty moms are looking for things to do with the kiddos!

Our Kid's Challenge is FUN and each month,
we post a tutorial to teach the Junior Crafters a new technique.
The tutorial is created by one of our own Kid's Design Team members!!

This month, their technique is
  PAPER PIECING!!

We challenged our TSB Design Team to create paper-pieced projects
to help support our Kid Crafters!

Since it's July, we added in a "Red White and Blue" color option
for the challenge too!

We provided the "Star" image from The Stamping Boutique
to our team for this challenge.
If you would like "The Star", just email me (Stacie)
at hestiashelper@gmail.com to request it.
My only request is that if you ask for the image
you MUST use it to enter this challenge!
As always, our TSB Designers managed to create the most wonderful
PAPER PIECED projects to inspire you!

Debbie HAD to bling it up just a bit!
I love how she embossed the red stripes in her Star!

Judy (CraftyGirl) made THE most adorable bookmark!
What a perfect sentiment for this super-Star!
She claims this is the FIRST time she's ever tried
PAPER PIECING! Look out, it's addictive!
Julia can't seem to help herself!
She's the PAPER PIECING QUEEN with THREE different cards this week!
She used Be Inspiring, Alice in Wonderland Queen of Hearts and Swirl Tree

Miranda! Seriously??
She even paper pieced the tiny little dots around the coffee cup!!
If you've seen Lollipop Square in the TSB Shop,
you'd know that there are many, many tiny, tiny parts
and she pieced them ALL!!
And what a FANTASTIC red, white and blue background!
So, there you go!!

We KNOW you feel inspired to give it a try, right?

And if you've never tried PAPER PIECING,
the tutorial at The Crafter's Cafe
was made by our very own Abby Miller
and she will show you the way!

Challenge #42: Texting Terminology

Hi Everybody and welcome to a new week of TSB inspiration!

Last weeks' mini cards were fantastic...
we didn't have a lot of entries, but just LOVED the ones that were posted!!

It is so wonderful to visit your blogs and get to know you all just a little bit better!

This week, I would like to declare the winner:

Lana, go ahead and grab our Winner's Badge to paste on your blog
and email me (Stacie) at hestiashelper@gmail.com
with your choice of ANY THREE images from
The Stamping Boutique Store!

Lana has a new blog and very few followers, and when she posted her entry,
she said she entered our challenge because she was "intrigued"...
well, thank you for taking the time to create a project just for us, Lana!
Your minis turned out fantastic and we hope you'll join us again!

please go check out Lana's new blog and show her some TSB love
for sharing her creativity with us this week!

This week, our new challenge theme is:

TEXTING TERMINOLOGY!

Using somewhere on your creation an abrevation or two (or as many as you want)from our new, modern library of Texting Vocabulary!

If you spend any time "texting" on your phone or mobile device, you know what we mean... those little 3-or-4-letter "words" that are recognized by all as a unique language...

 Here are some examples:

  • lol (laughing out lout)
  • bff (best friend forevery)
  • ttyl (talk to you later)
  • brb (be right back)
  • imu (I miss you)
Whatever you come up with....
and you can use it anywhere you want on your creation and in any fashion....
have fun with it!!!

Our TSB Designers sure had fun this week!

Debbie would like to wish you a
Happy Birthday with a little help
from Jade!
I'm loving the little fabric flowers
that perfectly match the papers!

Elizabeth made a card for her daughter's
Best Friend Forever!
The Fairy Princess Laundry Line is perfect here!
And look at the blingy flowers!
So happy and cheerful!

CraftyGirl Judy used the Emo Quote image
and created her background using "IMU".
Considering she doesn't even own a cell phone,
I think she nailed it!
LOVE the pink and black color scheme!!

Julia is also feeling the "IMU" blues.
And her pink and blue phone looks great
with this paper!

I know that LOL is "Laughing Out Loud",
but is there any such thing as Smiling Out Loud?
Because Miranda's card literally brought a smile
to my face the first time I saw it!
I just LOVE how she hid the little Rag Doll
in the LOL Letters!

Sandy is "Just Hanging Out" with
AJ Playing on the Swings.
I counted SIX different papers on her card
and all those buttons are so adorable...
cute, cute, cute!!!

We can't wait to see your
TEXTING TERMINOLOGY!!

This one should be fun.....
