Snowmen on Easel Cards!!

Happy Wednesday!! Don't forget that ALL images at The Stamping Boutique including Glitterbabe's fabulous images are on sale for 40% off until the end of the month!! Head over and get some of those images you've been eyeing!

I am so excited about the creativity of our Design Team!!

Today I have a project created by Miki Greg

Miki used the following images from The Stamping Boutique
End Cards - Bring it On Snowman
     Middle Card - Snowfriends

She also included directions on how to create the easel card itself!!

Miki's Super Fast and Easy Easel cards

To make 3 card bases will take 1 12x12 sheet of cardstock, some adhesive, scoreboard/tool ( or you could do it by just folding ) and a cutter ( or way to cut fairly squarely )

1) Score at 4" 6" and 8"
2) Cut ACROSS the score lines at 4" and 8" to give you 3 pieces of 4"x12" with 3 score lines
3) fold in half on 6" then open
4) fold far left square over the middle on 4" score and lay it flat with long side on top and fold away from you
5) fold last large square up over middle section - unfold
6) to adhere top to fold action apply glue to 2x4 section between 6" score and top square fold
and you are done

***couple of notes -
  •  you can use pattern paper once you are comfortable with how card works so you can make sure you get the pattern UP where it should be up ( it's best if you use a multi directional paper if you choose)
  •  you should make a 'stop' this can be where you put a sentiment or some slightly 3D effect like a small bling will work
  • you can add ribbon or twine etc and glue in-between the fold action
  • Remember to have fun

Other Reminders

Current Challenge here on the blog is Sparkling
Current Challenge in the Facebook group - Anything Goes using a TSB image

DIY planner bookmark

Hello I don't know about you but I've started thinking about the new year approaching.  I've been using a planner in some form or another since I was given my first one in school.  Though for 2016 I'm diving into the planner world and I'm excited. I'm going to decorate with washi tape, ebellishments and make my planner fun but also funtion for my needs in the coming year.

I've got to write things down to clear my head and just keep track of it all. So if you're like me in this and love planners then keep reading.

I decided to make a to do list bookmark with TSB image "Multi-task Girl".  I put it all together and laminated it.  To write on the tasks I used a high qauilty dry erase marker so it won't smear onto my nicely decorated planner pages or you could also put a matching size vellum or paper piece over it to help with this too.

Happy planning!

Do it Yourself Valentine's Cards

Hi this is Jamie here. Since Valentine's images are on sale this month I wanted to share something simple to make for your kiddos. You can make these for your children or their classmates. I made a whole class set in no time.
Really all you need to do is cut and glue on these cards. This could be a project for your child to glue together while on winter break. I here parents tell me all the time what I am going to do with this kid for three weeks (I am a teacher).
I used two images in these samples. The cowboy is perfect for them to write the to and from right on the front. Easy peezy. Just click this link to take you straight to the Valentine's images.
