Audrey the flower girl.

It's been such a long time since I've drawn "My Little Audrey" TSB designer, Collette Landwer, requested and Audrey flower girl with a ring of flowers in her hair and an empire dress (LOL!) and I couldn't resist. I've kept her pretty simple. I thought she'd be easier to work with that way. What do you all think? Do you like all the sparkles around the images that I put? or would you rather have them plain? or a happy medium?

  2. great image, very cute
well about the sparkles, most of the time I cut out the images so no sparkles left, but I must admit that I misses them in this drawing

  8. How funny... so often, I "fussy-cut" my images and end up cutting off the sparkles, but looking at this image, I miss them!
It's a "Tracey-touch" that seems to be part of your "look" and it just looks funny without them!

  10. I think sparkles as a watermark for your images - tells us at a glance that it is yours! But, leave the sparkles off the printable digi (or offer two versions in a zip file, one with and one without). I've tried numerous papers and techniques for coloring my "sparkled" TSB digis and struggle with graying and streaking of the image. I LOVE the lines of your images! Perhaps another approach could be sparkles on the background only, but not within the digi itself, to make coloring easier(and to help me to be comfortable enough with the result to post photos of my cards online for everyone to see.... *smile*).

  11. Was that MY comment that was deleted? :( I could swear I posted - Just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH, Tracey ... this image was perfect! So good, in fact, that this little flower girl could actually rival a bridal image. Wonderfully done. As for the sparkles/non-sparkles - I love them when I'm using prismas/gamsol, but they're bane of my existence if I'm using Copics & not patient enough to let the image 'sit' for a couple of days before coloring. They are a signature of yours - perhaps the dual zip file - with and without? Love what you're doing!
