Bare with me today because we have a few things to talk about before we get to the challenge!!!

First Thing:

It's been a full year since we started doing bi-weekly challenges and we have loved looking through all your wonderful creations and sharing Tracey's fabulous images with you! We have been having such a great turnout that we have decided that we are going to go to weekly challenges!!! WEEKLY!!! Wooohoooo!!!

she decided to do a step card and it's sooo stunning!

Audrey:
made this beautiful oval card. I love all the layers to this and each layer has a different die cut to it!

Debbie:
Eeeeekkkk....now this is thinking outside the box!!! This is fantastic...I mean...making a band aid for your shape....LOVE IT!!! And then you just have all these extra added little goodies and backgrounds and...love it!!!

Heide:
Did this lovely circle card...I guess she's preparing us for the upcoming months of rain before spring hits!! I love these colors and DP!

Stacie:
Do you see those wings??? OMGoodness....stunning! I love all the pretty yellow's in this as well!

Julia:
This.....this....I'm in love with! Wow!!! I mean does it get any better then this....you got your teapot and your Alice in Wonderland image!! Perfect!

Ali:
If I didn't know any better I'd think these girls were liking the Alice line!!! ;-) This is soooo very pretty with all the reds and the ribbon around the bottom!

Sandy:
Okay....this shape is too cute and I love the sentiment with this!! This image always makes me smile and I love the bright colors!!

~~~Okay...I am doing a little editing here because I missed 2 projects. I feel soooo horrible. I was joking with Melissa about not allowing her card because it was snow/winter oriented and I didn't want to see anything but nice bright things and blooming flowers...totally joking of course (even though I am ready for spring flowers) and guess what....I totally forgot to add her project so here it is...in all it's WINTER glory!!!~~~

"Poisoned Peas Please" DT Call!!!!!!!!

Ok, lots of people have been asking about it and here it is! The PPP official DT call. I want to keep things simple. One project a month will be required. You'll need to post it on your blog and turn it in to me to be posted on the PPP site. I'm in the process of having the DT badge made so you'll need to post that also, please. I'm thinking one free image from the store (TSB) a month to use on the project. Every team member will get the entire Alice In Wonderland line from TSB to get started. (In addition to your choice of image for March) I'm also looking for a DT coordinator for this site. So when you e-mail me, please specify if you're trying out for the DT or to be the DT coordinator. The first term will be from March 1-Sept. 30. Please e-mail me, Tracey at traceydawnn@msn.com, you're best alternative or just a little weird project so I can get a feel for your style. Challenge #26~Stitching and Winner

I'm soooo very sorry this is two days late. Ugh! I thought for sure I would have internet access where we were staying at home in Pa. but it turns out that we did not! My cousin-in-law/BFF bought a 2nd house in the mountains and if you love nature and quiet and all that jazz....it's perfect but for someone like me who NEEDS her computer and TV and "life" it was a very long 4 days in the woods. I did however get a ton of reading done! But it was freezing cold and we couldn't even be outside (not that I enjoy nature that much either...lol) I would much rather be laying on a beach somewhere...when she buys a beach house then I'll go back!!! LOL!!!

So let's get this party started!!!!

Stitching

This can be REAL or FAUX

(if you take a look at Manderly in the Top 3 she has done some amazing stitching)

I'd love to see some sewing machines being broken out for this ;-)

And of course we have some FAB work from the DT as well for you!!

Audrey:

Here is Valentine Background looking so cute and colored nice and bright! Audrey used some paper that she found that was stitched already so she got off easy...LOL!!!

Melissa:

used Trenton and decided to do this lovely shaped card and she used a paper piercer and a pen to make her faux stitching...very creative!!!

Elizabeth:

used the daisy's image and this is sooo perfect for spring. You need to enlarge this image to get a really good look but the flowers are super sparkly and she did real stitching...it's in a light color but we all love that she took the time to dig out her machine and fight with it to get a lovely zig zag stitch!!! ;-)

Julia:

used seamstress Cynthia and did her stitching over her paper ribbon (I think it's paper anyway...lol) and I just love these colors and those beautiful pearls!

Miranda:

used one of the new Alice in Wonderland images and holy moly...it feels like I just stepped into wonderland. This is amazing!!!! She did faux stitching around her flowers and image. There is so much detail here so be sure to take a nice long look...did you see the bottle in the corner...perfect touch!

Lawren:

used birthday bunny and decided to do some real stitching around her super cute card...pretty colors and ribbon. Love that accent at the bottom.

Sandy:

used Audrey and Aj on bench and did a ton of stitching! She even did a little bit of faux stitching around her bling! I just love these nice rich colors of her image!

Debbie:

did a scrapbook page and I am sooooo loving this. She used smoochie and did a combination of faux and real stitching. I love that all the hearts are linked through the stitching and the colors...fabulous! This is DARLING!!!



Sorry....

I have been out of town for the past 5 days and I thought I was going to have internet access and I did not. So I will have the new challenge up and ready for you all tomorrow....Wednesday! I'm super sorry!

Can you believe it's February already? It seems like the months are just flying by, but in our house that just means we are a little closer to baseball season. My boys eat, sleep, &amp; breathe baseball and with these 60 degree days we have been having here in MO who wouldn't love to be outside!
