Introducing Sue & Think Pink Monthly Contest...Deadline Approaching!!!
Time is running out to get those "Pink Projects" posted in our monthly contest in honor of breast cancer awareness month. Remember you are not required to use a TSB image this month, but if you do you get 2 entries. See all the details here!
I just realized that I have made a horrible oversight when cleaning out my emails and forgot to introduce a couple more of our new designers. There is no better time to introduce this FABULOUS lady than with this post about "Think Pink" proejcts. because she is a 223 year Breast Cancer Survivor and very
close friend of mine, Sue Masoner!
Hey, everyone! My name is Sue or Miss Sue unless you’re my husband, Mr. Wonderful, then my name is Kiddo. Lynn aka Buddy or Mr. Wonderful and I have been married for 28 years. I am a stepmom to 3 wonderful children and Grandma Sue to 4 awesome grandchildren. I am a 23 year breast cancer survivor so pink is one of my favorite colors.
I grew up in a small town outside of Omaha, Nebraska and have called Kansas City my home for 35 years. I have tried many different crafts over the years, but can say I have never enjoyed anything as much as paper crafts...especially making cards! I am a Close To My Heart consultant and enjoy teaching others at our monthly crops. I am a former 2nd grade Sunday School teacher and teach Junior Achievement at a local elementary school.
This is my second design team assignment and I am so honored to be a part of this fabulous team. I am new to using Copics and I am really looking forward to perfecting my technique on Tracey’s images. They are so fun and creative…I think you can tell by my picture, I’m all about fun! When I feel my mojo slipping, I put on my “crafty” headband. I look forward to sharing with you in the months ahead. Make sure you stop by my blog, Confessions of a Paper Hoarder and give me a shout!

CHALLENGE #18
SPOOKY SCARY HALLOWEEN
It's Halloween time again so let's see those spooky and or scary projects!
Okay....as spooky and scary as you can get because as you'll see from the DT work...some have gone above and beyond in the scary department and others like their's a little more on the.....cute scary side...lol!!! Let's take a look!
is using our lovely PJL The Witch and what fab coloring! She didn't think this was spooky enough but I think that the drippy goo border punch seals the deal!!!
is using Medusa who has been very popular for this challenge but she does look a bit on the scary side! I just love the sentiment and how she made it pop! Ohhhh and I just noticed the spider webs at the bottom...NICE!
used the very popular line of images witches laundry line...love the great halloween colors and the tag in the corner.
with Medusa looking ever so scary! Love that DP and how she cut Medusa out with a cut die cut.
using the ever so popular Medusa made her look sooooo scary. I mean look at that creepy paper and crow not to mention she kind of looks like she's on fire....look at those pieces behind the image....it looks like flames to me...I don't know what she used behind this image (maybe she'll tell us on her blog) but wow
used PJL as well for this challenge and she's looking not so scary but kinda hot!!! That's okay though!!! Sandy said the sentiment is handwritten on a scratch card she found in a dollar bin...isn't that awesome?! I wish I had nice handwriting like that! Totally creative!
Sandy also did this great coffin card for us using Medusa...FAB isn't it??!!!
is using Halloween vampire and I think he's looking a little scary...I love the bats and that spider web....super scary!!
is using cynthia fairy's halloween tea social and man do I love this easel card. It's not your typical easel card and I NEED to make one of these!!! And look at that sentiment...see...I told you some of the DT is going with a slightly cute scary theme!!! This card is just fantastic!
Well....she is using Medusa and has turned her in to the HOTTEST SCARIEST Medusa I have ever seen! Dang this girl goes above and beyond with every challenge she is given! Her sentiment is stone because Medusa turned people to stone when you looked into her eyes. She made the sentiment out of metal foil. She MADE that fantastic background out of inks, masks, and some glimmermist....you go girl!!!
is using Crowded Mash and those are the cutest...I mean scariest feet I've ever seen ;-) Love the embossed background and that bit of sparkle on the boots!!
used a few different images for her project...she made some cute halloween decoratons using halloween vampire, halloween monster and Frankenstien. Sorry it's turned...I can't seem to fix it but you can see underneath this close ups and they are the right way!!
I just love to see things other than cards...not that I don't love cards but it's great to have some variety of projects to inspire all of you out there!
Julia also made us a great easel card...I must apologize for some reason blogger is turning some of the images and I don't know how to turn them the right side....they are the right side everywhere but when they load into blogger....sooooo frustrating...I'm sorry Juliea!!!
But you all can see the card okay right?! Turn your heads to the side or turn the computer screen...lol...I love the sparkly paper and that pretty flower. This card is really great and I'm bummed it's sideways. If you know how to turn images right side up when the photo is loaded on here let me know!!!
is using halloween journal and made it into a fab circle shape with this great star border around it. And that bat...wow!!!
is also using witches laundry line and she was trying to go with a scary card and added that adorable....HORRID spider in the corner ;-) I mean...he does have fangs...that makes him scary. She was afraid that adding the spider took away from the card but I like it!!!
Okay.....that's it for today! I hope that the girls have inspired you to find that spooky scary within yourselves to create some projects for this challenge! Can't wait to see them!!
