Happy Tuesday! It's a nice sunny morning here in NC even though we have been having a ton of storms the past few days! I got a letter yesterday in my son's bag that said they only had 17 more days of school....OMG...where has the year gone? Not sure if I'm ready for the summer...I'm glad we'll get to sleep in and enjoy the wonderful weather and beaches BUT....I am not ready for my kids to be fighting and complaining about being bored and so on!
Okay...here is our winner from our challenge last week:

CHALLENGE #38
Doodling
We all have a little artist in us so let it shine! You don't have to cover your project in doodles but I want to be able to tell where the doodling is. It can be an elaborate background as you will see from some of the DT girls or it can be a few hearts or squiggly lines!
her doodling can be seen as her border and she drew the sentiment as well! Man...I can't stop staring at her face...the coloring on this image is fantastic and just compells you to need to stare at it!
This is perfect...it's not a lot of doodling but she did "doodle" the stitching and she drew the eye on the easel! Those colors are fabulous!
Judy:
and then you have elaborate!!! This entire background is doodled! Can you believe that? You really need to enlarge this picture so you can see the wonderful detail on this!
She doodled around her image and was saying it was horrid but this is what I say....I think it's fabulous! You stepped out of your comfort zone (which is what a challenge is all about) and you just went with it!
Hmmm....how strange two girls used the same image this week...must be something about the moose that says "doodle me"...lol...did a few touches of doodling around the image and added to the grass.
and last but certainly not least!!!! AMAZING!!! I'd say someone enjoys a little doodling in her free time! I am in awww of those that can just and do something like this. Fantastic work!!
Did you know that their are actual tutorials and "techniques" to doodling? Google it once and see what you come up with...maybe it will help you find your inner artist!! They say it's very relaxing and a great stress reliever...hmmm...maybe I need to give it another try ;-)
