TSB Remembers 9/11 Blog Hop
Thank you for joining us today on our special blog hop to "Remember 9/11." If you came here from Amanda's blog you are almost finished hopping, if not please head over to Collette's blog to start the hop! I know we all have memories of the events of 9/11 and what/where we were when we heard the news! So we are hopping today to honor those that are fighting the war after the affects of 9/11.
Operation Write Home collects cards made by many of us stampers for the service men and women to send home to their family and friends since there aren't any Hallmark type stores where they're stationed. Operation Write Home has some specific requirements for their cards which can be found on their website. Just click the highlighted link to find out more. (For starters - NO GLITTER ... Stickles are okay since they won't typically rub off. Also - they prefer the standard A2 size cards, but will gladly accept any you wish to donate.) If you have a stash of cards you don't know what to do with, Operation Write Home would love to take them off your hands. They typically ask, however, that you include a blank envelope for every card you send. It's a wonderful way to show the troops some love by allowing them the opportunity to send a card back home. Please take the time to visit Operation Write Home and OWH Stars & Stripes Blog for more info on how you can become involved in sending a little love and support to our troops!
Please make sure to leave a comment today on what you thought of the hop, one random person will win 5 free digi images of their choice from TSB! In honor of the hop today, please grab this free ribbon image to use on your wonderful 9/11 creations.

I just want to say that I am so proud to be a part of this great Team! Tracey, your images are awesome and to all the ladies: You are all AMAZING to me!
I have just completed the Hop, though one wasn't posted yet, and it definitely brings back memories of that day. If you look back, that was the day the world changed. Other happenings didn't really affect us, but this one did. You wonder when and how it will all end.
So proud to be a part of this Blog Hop - It's little things like making cards like we do that are so appreciated by our troops whether deployed or in camps on American (or other) soil. Thank you, Tracey, for all your wonderful designs. I enjoy them all, and am especially partial to your patriotic line. Thanks again!
These images are so beautiful and have such meaning to all of us. Thank you for taking the time to create them and thank you for sharing them with us.
What a great blog-hop. The cards and sentiments that were shared were definitely making me tear up. It is so sad to remember the loss of so many lives. Our world will never be the same again, but we have a wonderful military who try to keep us safe everyday. God Bless the USA!
Thanks for the hop and the reminders! Couldn't find anything on Jenn R's blog. thanks for the freebie image too!
I'm very happy to be a part of this amazing team and I felt very proud today to be able to contribute to such a meaningful hop. Marie x

What a great slide show of cards for today 9/11! Wonderful tribute!
OK so now that I have completed the blog hop I am in complete tears. Rollings down my face as I see these beautiful cards and thank these ladies for all their hard work. It brings back the awful memories like it was only yesterday. We all were affected on that day in some way. I will never forget the moment that I realized as I sat in horror listening to the events unfold on the radio that my daddy was in the pentagon. I can not even begin to describe that feeling and the tears it brings to even think about that moment. There were many tear filled panicked hours spent with my mom and sisters until we finally got the call we had been praying for. My dad was safe luckily he was on the other side. I grew up in the military because my dad was gone so much fighting for our country and this was the most terrifying moment of my life. I am one of the fortunate ones that found my loved one but many were not so lucky. I thank you for having this blog hop and remembering and raising awareness for soldiers past and present! Thank you again!
