Intoducing Michelle Single

My husband and I are MEGA Starbucks addicts - our Pug is named Latte, and we even went there following our wedding ceremony on the way to the reception, so be on the lookout for those Princess Jessica Latte images to get some ink from me. A German Shepherd Dog named Gandolf (Gandy for short) rounds out our household.

I work full time, and stamping still helps me stay sane (well, as sane as I can get). I wake up an hour early each day to get my latte flowing through my system, and to start the day on a happy note by making something creative.

At the suggestion of a fellow Soldier, I began stamping in 2005 as a way to reduce stress and combat the PTSD that was plaguing my very being following a two-year deployment to the Middle East with the US Army (it works!!!). Like everyone, I started with Stampin' Up! and have been a hobby demo for them on and off since 2005. I have always liked making things and being creative; I'm sure I get that from my Mom, who I also introduced to stamping (). Last year, I felt like I was in a rut with Stampin' Up! and began branching out to other stamp companies, and at CHA in 2010, I began dabbling with Copic markers (oh man!). I heard the woes of what printer ink could do to the Copics, so I was very timid to use digital stamps. I accidentally bought two of one Copic color, so I thought I would have a go at it. And low and behold, my printer ink works just fine.

Case Study Sponsor

Have you heard of the Case Study Challenge Blog? They are a wonderful challenge site with a very talented design team. We are very lucky to be sponsoring the challenge this week and wait until you see what fantastic samples both team have created for the challenge.

From the Case Study blog: The idea behind our challenges is all about getting inspired by some of the most talented paper crafters in the industry. We will feature a new Guest Designer (Muse) every month, and show you how this person inspires us. Then, we want you to do just the same! Simple and easy, huh?

Now be ready to have your socks knocked off as the Muse for this week is Mercy Kerin  and she has created this gorgeous card that we are "casing" this week." Your task should you choose to accept it, is to create a project using this card for inspiration.  So you could use the layout, colors, etc. to create your work of art!

I know that I probably sound like a broken record, but once again 3 Digis images are up for grabs for one lucky participant!  Make sure to upload your cards here to play along.

Peek a boo I see you, LOL!  This little penguin is ready to come out and play in the cold and snow. This adorable card comes from Michelle and you can find this image here. Michelle shows us how simple touches can make the card, from the shape of the card base to cutting out of the image.

What to see more of Michelle's work?  Head over to her blog, Caffeine & Stamps and leave her some love!

Collette has busy just like this little bee creating this beautiful card. What a color pallet, pretty ribbon and scalloped circle framing the image are the perfect compliments to this beauty!
You can find this image in the store here.

Heavensent. For You  is where you can find more inspiration from this talented lady!

Do you Believe?  Well I believe that I would love to receive this gorgeous tag created by our new designer Dardi.  She has used the image called Twirling Fairy. Hasn't she done a magnificent job coloring this cutie and what a fantastic color combo, so striking!

Next up we have our newest designer joining the team, Michelle Single and this is her 1st project for TSB.  She is working with the BRAND new image, Once Upon A Time.  I love that big beautiful bow and how she has framed the image using that fun shape.
